Sleepy Sunday and a Very Special Barkday

Hello friends...I wanted to start by wishing my special puggy friend Emmitt a very happy 14th barkday - W00t!!! I hope you had a great day Emmitt...your pawty was sure fun!!! And here's to many, many more barkdays to come!!!! - Woot-W00t-W00t!!!

Next up, I wanted to share a special sleepy pix...it's from when my Mom went to visit my sissy Sophia. Sophia and Oreo and Roo and Todd were so excitered to see my Mom and Auntie Yvette they got sleepy... or maybe Mom just bored them...who knows - BOL!!!

I've missed all of you so much!!!! Between Mom working and then her abandoning me to visit with my friends pawrents (and Asta, Princess Stella, Petey and Duffy)...I feel like I've been gone FUREVER!!!! I hope you guys haven't furgotten about me!!!! Mom says the next few weeks are going to be CRAZY, but she promises she'll help me post after our special visitor arrives at the beginning of August...I wonder who is coming to see me???

That's right! You won't be catching me doing something crazy like going in the big pool...NO WAY!!! It's been pretty hots in NJ where Sophia lives and she decided she needed to cool off. Thank you, but I'll just stay in the air conditioning!!!!

Sorry I've been MIA lately...Mom has been working lots and lots and planning her 'great escape'. That's right, she's leaving me AND she's taking Auntie Yvette with her!!!! Me, I'm going to hang out with the cool people at the Local Bark where I've been going for playcare lately. It's been lots of fun and I'm made lots of friends. I just don't understand why I can't go with Mom and Auntie Yvette.

I started to get a little worried this morning. Mom was up and dressed just like a work day...and then she LEFT!!!! How can that be??? It's Sleepy Sunday and she's supposed to spend it with ME!!!! Luckily about 1 FoodTV show later (Tanner may watch Days of Our Lives, but I'm a FoodTV girl) Mom came home! Whew...that was a close one!

Note From Mom: I did go to work this morning...have some testing to do that I can only do at the office, but I couldn't get it :( Oh well, I better relax today because that means an early morning and possibly a late night tomorrow!!!

'Stressful' Sleepy Sunday

Well not stressful for me...maybe for Mom...and all before 9am! So we wake up, I eats and Mom surprises me with a 'Let's go to the park!!!!' I'm so excitered because I haven't been to the park in AGES! So we gets in the car and off we go.

Once at the park I was a little sad because there were no other doggies there, but that was ok, because Mom was going to call Uncle Sergey and Remmy to come play. So I waited and before long there was this bootiful greyhound girl waiting for me at the fence. We barked a little and decided to run...and run we did. It was a blast!!! Back and forth, back and forth...like for 20 times!!! Mom said something like I must have reminded her of a bunny...or something like that. Mom is so silly, I'm a Boston not a bunny.

Anyhowl, Mom was over filling up the doggie pool and I came by to get a drink. All of a sudden my Mom shrieked (SO embarrassing) and next thing I knew I was back in the car! I was there for all of 15 minutes...SO not fair. So when we got in the car, Mom was wiping my paw which was kinda red and gushy and I noticed that my dew claw was all broken. Oh well...no worries...I can go back and play now, right? But NOOOOOOOO...we drive to the ER vetpires to look at my ouchie. It really didn't hurt I barked to Mom, but she never listens to me.

Sorry for the blurry picture, but it is the best Mom could do...she said I was being too wiggly - Whatever!

Anyway...$80 later, prescription for some antibiotics and the threat of wearing the evil cone, I'm home, totally fine and sleepy. At least I got a bit of a run it before I was so rudely whisked away. My Mom is such a worrier... Mom says she hopes your Sunday is not as exciting as ours!
