Preparations

OMD I have just been so busy...between working for the Snuggle Puggle, and being a nursie I've had to prepare AireRuby for the big event tomorrow.  First off, AireRuby wouldn't be complete without a quick rinse...

I was a little worried at first, but it will wash right off after the event!!!

Next, I needed to find a suitable beverage.  Of course my first thought was to go to the Drink-Mistress, Lacie, but I changed my mind...I mean Lacie, I love you girl, but you do have a bit of a reputation and this is supposed to be a very refined event.  So here's what I found...and don't worry, there aren't any grape products in this...remember, us doggies shouldn't be eating grapes!

And finally, I needed to make sure the flowers had arrived, the banner was hung correctly, the cake didn't fall over and just do all the decorating and tidying up.  Thank doggness my Macky offered to help me!  

Looks smashing, doesn't it?  OK, I must go...the snackies are about to arrive.  I'll be taking off as soon as I get the snackie put away to pick up the bootiful bride and her lovely Maid of Honor.  So keep a look out for me and remember, we've got quite a few kitties on board so let's all try and get along!

Feel Better Cooper

My buddy Bob's bro Cooper isn't feeling too great right now.  His eye is hurting him because he has a app-sense, whatever that means.  Anyhowl, I thought I might trade in my pilot's hat for a nurses cap.  I mean if Lacie can be a nurse, I sure think I can!!!!

Feel Better Coops!!!  I know you don't like me very much (the big fella is, um, afraid of me - imagine that?!?!), but I sure want you to get better soon so that we can play!

On the Job...

Well, I'm back to work this week...and boy did I have an important job...Keeping Jakey safe in the water! And I don't even like going in the water!!! What a pupgirl must do!!! Well, Jake did fine and so did I. Jake is one cool people pup. I've got lots to tell you about, but I'm really busy...I'm also taking care of a sick Mom.  Oh, the work just never ends.

OMD Pups, I'm so sorry for being gone for a few days...especially sorry to my boss Eduardo for having missed work on Tuesday.  I promise I have a good reason...really I do...I'm getting some visitors tomorrow!  OMD I can't wait.  My Auntie Kelly and her people pup Jake are coming to hang out with me.  I promise to write all about our fun and adventures - W00t!!!!

Barkday Bonanza

Hey everypup...I thought I'd report in on the barkday happenings.  It was a pretty low key barkday, which was a-OK with me...as long as I got to spend it with my peeps (Mom and Auntie Yvette), it was just fine by me.  

So the day started off as any other day.  Mom came home for lunch and gave me a special kong treat filled with peanut butter...YUM!

That was a mighty fine way to spend some time.  Even if it did make me a little gassy (hey, maybe I should join the Fart Club???)  Than after work, Auntie Yvette came over and her and Mom took me to buy some special barkday treats.  I got a bully stick and these pawsome cookies...

These were really good.  They are gone now, but that's what they looked like.  Next...let's see...oh, I finally got to open up my box from my Macky...

Mom caught this shot when I was a little mellow...imagine that?!?!  Anyhowl, I got this cute little lamby and some WAY yummy snackies from my Macky.  Mom even got a pawsome BT pillow, but she forgot to give me the picture she took.  Oh well...Thank you so much Mack and your Mom too...we love everything - W00t!

Now I've saved the best for last...Maggie and Mitch, this one's for you...I got...

ICE CREAM!!!!! W00T!!!!!

Actually, it was vanilla frozen yogurt, but it was soooooooooo good.  Here's another pix of me enjoying it...

After that, I was totally tired and went to sleep.  It was such a great day...thanks to Mom and Auntie Yvette and my Macky for making it such a wonderful day.  Oh and I want to thank Asta and Lenny for their amazing barkday cards.

Today I want to talk about 3 things...
#1 - Today is my barkday and guess how old I am...that's right, I'm THREE - W00t!!! Mom has a special surprise for me tonight and there is a box from my Macky that I'm gonna get to open later on. I can't wait!!!

#2 - Today is also my blogiversary...ok, so it's only my second blogiversary, but it's still important and to celebrate it, I have a new blog style - W00t! Mom and I are still working out the kinks, but I think it reflects me being a grownup pupgirl now, seeing how I'm 3 and all!

#3 - I'm not going to subject you (like last year) to my Mom's mushiness today... Heck I think she made some of your pawrents a little watery in the eyeballs! We'll be having none of that today!!! But I will say...Mom, I woof you so very, very much and thanks for letting me be your pupgirl - W00t!

I promise I'll post this weekend of all the barkday goings on! Thanks so much for being my friends and make sure you get lots of extra snackies today to celebrate my special day - W00t!

And today they are reporting that a new arrival in the White House is imminent!  This is cool...EXCEPT it's sounding like it won't be this guy...

Which is pretty disappointing, sincle I was looking forward to a staying in the Lincoln Bedroom and a romping on the Presidential jungle gym.  Hey Walls, what do you think,  maybe you could sport  some dreads or maybe a perm???

PTO

Today, I will NOT be...

Why you ask?  Well, I've decided to take PTO (Play Time Off)!  I've worked long and hard this past month doing laundry, watching TV and dealing with ducks that I thought I deserved a little PTO...'specially since it is my barkday on Thursday.  My Mom took PTO when it was her barkday, so why shouldn't I???

Ruby:  Wow, really, that's great news...what are you going to pay me?  I've been working realllllly hard you know. Who else is ridding the yard of those dirty ducks?  I mean without me, you'd be swimming with duck poop in your hair!
