Sleepy Sunday #39

Ahhh, the last of the the warm sun. It's still been pretty warm in the afternoon to nap outside...but it is getting colder everyday. Hope you pups have a great sleepy Sunday.
Oh and guess what...my Mom is off from work for a whole 10 days - W00t!!!

Project: Thanksgiving

So in 4 short days I'm getting some VERY special visitors...my Nanny, my Auntie Joey and my Cousin Danny are coming to visit me for Thanksgiving - W00t!!! This is very excitering because it is the first time I'm getting to meet my Auntie Joey and Cousin Danny. Only thing that would have made this pawfect was if my sissy Sophia and Auntie Pearl could come...but they are going on little vacations of their own.

Anyhowl, Mom and I have been busy decorating for their visit...here a few pictures...

This is a metal pumpkin...Mom thinks it's really cool, I'm not so sure because I don't think it would taste too good.

And last but not least, here is our Thanksgiving table...

I, um I mean we, made that pretty table runner. We even made matching napkins and coasters too! The only thing that would make the table better would be if there was Thanksgiving dinner on it - W00t!!!

OMD, OMD...the great Gussie, song writer extraordinaire composed a song for my, um I mean our, little house project...sing it to the tune of 'Little Boxes'...

Thank you so much Gussie...me and Mom just love it!!! Oh and the pups names are Hannah and Hayden. And yes, Hannah is a wee pup-girl, but she's catching up to her brother day by day - W00t!!!

Little Houses

Maybe it's the fact that we've moved and have more room or maybe it's because I'm coming into the creative phase of my life (I'm 2 and a half now) but Mom and I have been project C*R*A*Z*Y lately - W00t!  So over the next couple of days I'll share with you some of the things Mom and I have been working on.  First up...the Little Houses!!!!

So a couple of months back, my Auntie Deb asked me and Mom to help her come up with some ideas on how to decorate her soon to be borned people pups - and yes, I said pups!  So here was our inspiration...

This is a painting by a Portland artist named Tracy MacEwan.  Isn't it fun???  So Mom and I thought and thought.  I in particular channeled the great skills of Dave, guide dog for the color blind, and here is what I, um I mean we, came up with...

Little Houses - W00t!

So I said to Mom...

'Mom...this would make an awfully nice bumper for the puppies cribs don't ya think???'  

And voila...here is what I, um I mean we made...

Not too shabby, huh?  Oh and here it is in the puppies room...

Fun don't ya think???  Oh and here are the new puppies who who belong to the crib...

Mom says it is appropriate to bark 'ahhhhhhhhh' right now - W00t!  Aren't they just the cuterest???

Yeah, that's right, I'm being neglected...ok, let me re-phrase...my blog is being neglected.  Mom has been in this training all week and then is too tired to do anything else except for play with me - W00t!  You would think she was learning agility or something with her being tired and all...but she said it isn't.  Too bad.

Anyhowl...I'm still here and will try and check your bloggies and post more over the weekend!!!!
