Correction: An earlier post (if you saw it) incorrectly had me post that it was Maggie's Barkday today. Well, it's the other Maggie. Oops...that's what happens when you let a silly hooman manage your social calendar. Happy Barkday SoCal Maggie! I feel so official posting a correction!

Spa on Wheels

OMD you pups I had the most pawsome adventure yesterday...I went to the spa and it had wheels! Well actually the spa came to my house...but it had wheels! It was so excitering and I am so bootiful now after my treatments!!!

My new friend and stylist, Miss Rachael was just the bestest. I think I liked her so much because she told me she also has a BT boy named Cody...she showed me a picture of him and he is really cute (not to worry Mack, you're the only BT boy for me!). So Miss Rachael knew exactly how to cater to my specialness aka give me snackies and lots of belly rubs!

Lets see...I got furminated which I have to say scared me at first, but really it felt great! It actually feels like I lost at least a pound from getting rid of all that extra fur! Than I had an aromatherapy steam bath and she squeezed my butt (I didn't mind, she was gentle), got my ears cleaned and teethies brushed. Oh and of course a pawticure. I just feel like a new girlpup again...so relaxed, so rejuvenated, so soft, so shiny, so um, bootiful!!!!

My silly Mom kept telling Miss Rachael these stories of how I don't like baths and am squirmy when someone holds me too long but I was just the most pawfect of clients. What Mom doesn't realize is that I only do that to HER when she tries to groom me...time with Mom is for playing and napping NOT pawsonal hygiene! I just loved Miss Rachel and can't wait until she comes back!!! I sure hope she comes back...I hope this wasn't a one time deal!

I totally can do this, but first I must practice. So I have nothing to share yet, but I will...I totally will!

Out and Back

I'm so very excitered today pups...first off I'm here to announce and congratulate my people pup cousin Danny. Wanna know why? Well, Danny just graduated from puppy training, oops I mean middle school yesterday - W00t!!!

Just look at how handsome he is...well, I mean he's no Mack or Stanny, but for a people pup, he's pretty darn good looking...

Oh and here he is with his Mom, my Auntie Joey...
Dan, my Mom and I are really, really proud of you and know you'll do great in high school!!! W00t!

So now you get the 'out' part of this post---Danny is out of school! Now for the 'back'...I'm going back to school - W00t! I just love school. I'd like to consider myself a pupgirl who likes better herself whenever she can...I'm totally into continuing my ed-u-ma-cation! So Mom and I are back to class starting tonight. It's going to be pawsome!!!

Each week, for six weeks, we are going to meet Miss Cindy from The Right Steps and a bunch of other pups at different places to work on our skillz in different situations. Tonight...it is a park. I imagine there will be tons of people and people pups running about and doing things and it will be my job to make sure that my Mom doesn't go off to run and chase a ball or a Frisbee and follows directions. I sure hope she can pay attention. I mean this class probably is more for her than me! Anyhowl...I'll try and get photos. And speaking of photos...here is one of me...because it is my blog!

Goodie Exchange!!!

I got my goodie exchange package the other day. Mom's been a little lazy helping me post about it...my apologies. I just don't know what I'm going to do with her!! Anyhowl...OMD what a bundle of Brat Pack goodness was included. Everything the Brats sent was pawsome...the only thing that would have been better is if they could have managed to fit all 5 brats in the box!!! W00t!

Just look at that haul...3 different types of snackies, a cool piggy that squeals, a dogarita and lime, a wormy stuffy and some junk for my Mom. Ruby's Mom: Hey, what are you talking about junk? There were great doggie towels and a BT luggage tag. You're just jealous it wasn't all for you. Ruby: Whatever woman!

I couldn't wait to get into those cookies...but Mom made me wait!!! Waaaaaa

Sleepy Sunday #21

Don't worry...this was from yesterday. Aire Ruby is all fueled up (my is it getting expensive) and ready to go for Sophie & Dixie's Barkday Extradoganza in Indianapolis. I'll be there soon so be ready!

Clarification

OK, OK...guess I stretched the truth just a wittle-tiny bit. I did get to meet the people pups...they were fun...especially Jakey...he wasn't afraid of me. (I know, imagine that another pup, afraid of me?) I think it was because I soooooo excitered to meet them and see Auntie Kelly again...I jumped a lot...I guess I need to work on that.

Also, Mom and I did get to spend some quality time together on Saturday and Sunday (my Ruby-versary!!!). We went to the park, got lots of snacks, took lots of naps, got a bath (yuck-o). So all and all, it wasn't that horrible. I just would have liked to spend all the time with Mom and those cute little people pups.

I guess Mom was a wee bit guilty...look what I got tonight after dinner...

Meme...finally

Mom and I (or I should say Mom) has been kind of lazy posting about this meme. First I was tagged by by boyfriend Mack, than my puggy pal Clover. I think I'm probably the last pup to do this, but if you haven't give it a whirl...oh and Mom is going to play too!

1. What was I doing 10 years ago?
Mom: Working at a start-up in Silicon Valley.
Me: 10 years ago is a really long time ago...wow, like a billion years ago. I wasn't borned yet.

2. Five Things on my to-do list today.
Mom: Sit in on boring conference calls at work, buy special presents for Kelly's boys, figure out how to squeeze a week's worth of work into 2 days, vacuum, help Ruby post on her blog about this meme.
Me: sleep, pee, poop, eat, play fetch, chew on my bully stick, walk my Mom. Wow...that's more than 5, I'm a busy pup!!!

3. Three snacks I enjoy.
Mom: Fruit, brownie bites, cheese
Me: Mom's salmon cookies, wallymelon, blackberries

4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire.
Mom: Pay off all my bills, buy a house, quit working and open a yarn shop, give lots of $$$ to animal rescue
Me: I wouldn't change my life...except maybe I'd help Mom donate $$$ to animal rescue. Oh and maybe ask for a brother or sister.

5. Three of my bad habits.
Mom: Procrastination, over-analyzing/over-thinking, worrying. (Same as Clover's mom)
Me: I have no bad habits (Ruby's Mom: HA!) Seriously, I don't have a one, not a lick, nada, nothing. I think probably you all agree, right? (Ruby's Mom: HA!)

6. Five places I have lived.
Mom: Newark, NJ; Plainsboro, NJ (Near Princeton U); Campbell, CA; San Jose, CA; Fair Oaks, CA (near Sacramento)
Me: Missouri (where I was borned), Fair Oaks...that's it. Hey Mom, I need to move some more don't you think?

7. Five jobs I have had.
Mom: Ice cream scooper (in high school), file clerk in doctor's office (college), sales engineer, project manager, web development manager
Me: expert napper, expert runner, snackie eater, stuffy destroyer, blogger

Now THAT was fun!!! So something even more fun is that Mom has the next 5 days off - W00t!!! She's been working so hard, I'm so glad that she's getting some time off. We'll be going to the park and hanging out with Auntie Kelly and her people pups...I can't wait!

Sleepy Sunday #19

Oh, the wedding was so bootiful. I just cried and cried. Stupid Mom forgot to send the camera with me...my fault I suppose since I usually rely on my diva pal Asta for all the photography and she's had much more important things to be doing this weekend (feel better Daddi). Anyhowl it was very lovely and I think the bride and groom were just a little surprised when we showed up to be their witnesses. It was so cute seeing Lilly and Tanner together...he tries to be so suave, but well, he's still a bit of a doofus. Oh and it was also Sophie's barkday too!!! Joe was so happy he didn't have to miss her barkday...those two lovebirds...so sweet. I sure hope you liked the special cake we had for you on Aire Ruby Sophie!!! I promise for the next pawty I will remember the camera.

Barking of next pawties...It's both Sophie and Dixie's barkday coming up - W00t! Sophie is going to take a little break from the tough job of judging SNPM contest to show us around Indianapolis on June 15th to celebrate their barkdays. She's got a whole iternary planned...it will be so much fun. Hey, maybe Dixie will whip up some of those yummy pumpkin cookies for us??? Leave a comment if you want Aire Ruby to pick you up for the big event...now that the Indy500 is over, maybe we could land there?

OK, back to napping. I'm a little annoyed today...Mom is going out to this fancy-shmancy place for dinner called The Kitchen tonight...and she's NOT taking me!!! H-E-L-L-O...we already have a kitchen!!!
