Good Bye Sweet Friend...

Saturday, July 28, 2007

There are no words to describe how sad I am today to learn that my UK aire-pal Oscar has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. He was such a happy boy and brought lots of joy to everyone around him...especially his Mum and Dad. Oscar was one of the first DWB bloggers to become my friend and I will never forget it. I could always count on that witty Brit-dog humor to brighten up my day. Oscar you were a good pal and I'll never forget you. I know my Mom's aire-boy, A.D., from when she was a pup will take good care of you!

Oh Ruby... we are crying here in my house. Mom and I are just stunned and shocked about this happening to this handsome boy. We are gonna miss him so much. All we can do now is keep his memory alive and give his parents as much as support as possible. He will be missed more than words can say.
Hugs,
Sitka, Tia and Mom

Hey Ruby,
Please thank your Mom for me. I really like the touches she put on the picture of Oscar and we've already changed it out ;)

Hey Ruby,
We were so stunned after what went on with him yesterday, we were worried all night long. Then to find out this morning he was gone, so horrible. We've been in tears today many times. We're sure he was met by 4 of Mama's other doggies today. Oscar will be dearly missed by many.

Ruby - very nice memorial of Oscar - we are all sad and moopy around here too because of the news.

We also spent some time catching up on our reading - your post on gelato made me and my foster brother Mac very hungry!! Oh and my mom said no way are you fat - she said she has had to lift my 82 pounds and Mac's 96 pounds around so - YOU ARE NOT FAT!

We hope you have a good week -

Love Dory and Mac

Ruby Bug!

We miss our Oscar Boy! My girl and I are at a loss. It still doesn't seem real.

I've been talking with my girl about how I want to make some kind of big gesture to Oscar's parents to show them how much we love them and how much their Oscar meant to us. We're still trying to think of ideas. Maybe we could all do something together...

Love on your mama. I'm sticking close to mine this weekend.

Goober love & hugs,
Your Stanny

Thank you for your lovely tribute. We are hurting so so badly now and just cannot understand why our healthy bouncy puppy had to go so soon and so fast. Knowing how much he was loved and will be missed is some comfort.
