Neglected!

Thursday, January 10, 2008

I am being neglected! Don't believe me? Here are the facts:

1) My Mom has been gone...off to work abandoning me. Doesn't she know that after 2 weeks of us being together you just can't leave me cold turkey (yummmmmmm cold turkey)!

2) Hardly any walkies. Oh sure is wet outside and I don't like the rain and I really hate my rain slicker, but at least try and show a little effort!

3) She's not locking me in my kitchen prison anymore. OK, maybe I should be happy about this, but I see it as her just not caring what I do while she is out gallivanting!

4) She's not playing that stupid Wii game...yeah I don't like it, but she made such a big deal about getting one, than terrorized me with it and now it's just collecting dust!

5) Oh sure, doesn't have time for me, but on two occasions this week she came home smelling like Bob! What, is she cheating on me again?????

6) Hasn't made any time to help me blog or visit YOUR blogs!!! If I don't watch it, you pups will not love me anymore or wanna fly on AireRuby and just plain forget about me!

7) Oh and finally I get to do a post, but I have no pictures. How can I do a post with out pictures??? It is just not right!!!

What is this world coming to???? I'm clearly being neglected, right? Maybe I should just run away...

we would never not love you Ruby. It seems like maybe you mom is busy. That could be why she isn't playing the wii but it is no excuse for her neglecting you.

You could always try pooping in random places, that's pretty much the quickest way to get noticed, although I'm sure you would never do that.

How can your mother neglect you? Sigh... Ruby, if you want to run away, run to my place ok? We will take very good care of you & not once you will be neglected. I guarantee you!

Sweet Ruby, I'm sure mum isn't meaning to make you feel neglected. I know and you know that you are her number one special girl. I'm sure she feels terrible that she's busy (and if your ma is like my ma she would so much rather be at home still than back at yucky work!)

Poor Ruby - maybe you need to remind your mum you do have your own airline so can take yourself where ever you want - you're more than welcome here - though HM will take you out walking even if it's bucketing down with rain!!

I'm sure she still loves you and hopefully come pay day she'll show her appreciation for you and buy you a really great present!

Oh Ruby --
don't fret my pretty. Sometimes humans get real busy and it's not that they don't love us it's just that they have to make a living so we will have food, toys, meds, etc. I know, girl, it took me a looong time to understand this concept, but just remember your Momma always loves you and is out there working for YOU!

PeeS: It is so unfortumanant that we don't live in the same city - cause we could be entertaining each other while our Mommys are at work :(

Please don't run away, Ruby! I know your mom would be really really sad if you did. She must be really busy, and I bet she doesn't mean to neglect you.
My parents have been neglecting their Wii too... must be some thing going on that makes parents really busy at this time of year...

Hi Ruby
Don't run away coz we'd all miss you, but even more, your mum would miss you.
We have to be patient with our hoomans. They try hard but they're not perfect like us.
My mum nearly almost wiped out my blog tonite. I have enough trouble getting her to do posts and upload photos, and she decided she wanted to change my template tonight .. she's not going near my template again !!!
Have a great weekend.
Love from Hammer

Lady Kaos said... 10:17 AM

Poor Ruby! Maybe you should just come visit everybody and neglect her for awhile! OR use a very cute a pittiful face and put her on a major guilt trip which will lead to some attention and lots of treats. That's what I always do!

Hey Ruby,

We love you too. You can come stay with us and our Mom will be sure to cuddle you.

Interesting news: our egret is back and has promised to fly us to Tempe. We're torn, however, because it's so much fun on Aire Ruby.

We'll see -- hold our seats, please.

Hi, Ruby!
I feel so sorry for you! But you have to understand your mom. She needs to work.
And the weekend is here! You two are going to have great time together!
There is no way we can forget you!
Kisses and hugs

Don't feel bad, Ruby. I have similar problems with my mom from time to time and have complained about them. All of us have occassional people-problems. I think it is something that happens to them around the "holidays". They get busy with other stuff and sometimes take us for granted. The good thing is that this ends and things go back to normal.

There are several different ways that you can get her attention. You can eat one of her favorite shoes, hide under the bed and bark at night, or crawl up on her lap and give her lots of kisses. All of these should work. Pick the one that you like the best, try it, and see what happens. Hehe...

Love and Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie

If I was showing you the love I have for you in my heart, you wouldn't feel neglected, even if your mama has abandoned you cold turkey (mmmm mmmm). Nodog or anyone else could EVER forget you, sweet thing!

HAve it out with your mama. I'm sure she can explain what's going on, and I bet it won't last for long. She loves you too much to see you so miserable.

Come to GooberSTan for a visit, why don'tcha?

Goober love & smooches,
Stanny

Oh Ruby...and we thought all dog parents made a resolution to pay their doggies more attention after the New Year!!! Don't run away, Girl...just make her feel really really guilty. With those endless eyes of yours, it ought to be a piece of cake!

Hey book us um...let's count...6 seats for the Superbowl pawty flight and Koob's Valentine pawty!!! It's us, Babystan, Seymour and the pups unless they're adopted by then. Your Nanny wants one too...!!! Wonder if she knows what she's gettin into!

Love ya Ruby...

My mom abandoned me up at grandma & grandpa's house this week... she says she had long hours of "work" to do. Whatever! I feel your pain, girlfriend. We won't forget about you though - EVER! Super cool that you don't have to hang out in the kitchen jail anymore!

Jessica said... 12:28 PM

Oh Ruby, you are not being neglected. It's just a fact of life. Our humans have to work so that they can keep a roof over our heads, buy us food, and spoil us with toys and treats. We are sure that your Mom still loves you very much.

Love, Seadra and Zoe

Noah the Airedale said... 3:34 PM

Crikey Ruby, please don't even think about running away. Your mum would be distraught if you did that. Our pinkies are back at work too so we understand. It was much better when they were on holidays.
Maybe you should write your mum a note telling her how you feel.

Ruby, we feel for you gal!

But sometimes the hooooomans have stuff they have to deal with.

We are dogs, we deal with them.

My jeannie and i are kinda worried about Suki.....we know she is a big pal of yours......

we have not commented for a while, but when we tried earlier, her blog does not exist anymore?

Any news on this. We have been down the "I hate my blog I will delete it" scenario, but thankfully some kinda hoooooman sense prevailed, we wanted to wish Suki and Joey a happy new year, but Blogger wont let us in.

any stuff you may know, sweet Ruby, would be appreciated???????????

Concerned and loving Marvin xxxxx
